Assuming they do square off in the boxing ring who walks out victorious or do they both end up on the canvas needing oxygen prior to the first round ending?

I got Eddie, as long as he stays hydrated.

BTW a 501 home gym pull don't count.

Thor has about 7 inches on Eddie Hall. There’s no way Eddie has a chance here.

Technique can negate reach especially with minimally trained boxers.

I think it will come down to technique and cardio and I think The Beast will come in better trained (he already has an advantage there) and with better cardio.

If I were Hafthor, I would get George Foreman on the phone and get him to come and and show me how box as a taller fighter and conserve energy.

No one in the world knows more about both topics than Big George. He learned his lesson about that one.

I have no issue with Magnus as a judge but you don't get a WR in a home gym pull when you set the weight and time intervals to suit you, with or without a legit judge, period. Listen to what other SM have to say about it, one of the best takes is by Oberst.

for what it's worth, here's my take. I've seen a fair amount of video on Eddie sparring and he does have "some" skills, but like you'd think, he is pretty stiff with all that muscle mass, but does move pretty good and keeps his feet right and guard up in the ring.

I've also seen Thor spar, though a lot less video and the guy hasn't a clue. He throws nothing but arm punches and when advancing toward his opponent he crosses his feet like he's walking toward them instead of sliding and keeping his lead foot in front. He generates absolutely no hip or shoulder power in his punches.

Even though he's several inches taller than Eddie, my vote goes to Eddie before both of them gas so bad they need EMS to revive them.

It's no different than Eddie's pull IMO...he did it in his hometown, in a multiple event "competition", where conveniently the deadlift was the first event. He didn't do any other events after, just the deadlift.

They both count, and Thor has it for now
