The worst player in the NBA would ride the bench at Duke. I'm sorry. This is different than football. NFL players are so damn big and developed. You can't say the same about the NBA.
So why does not every Duke star make the NBA then

An NBA player would be a day 1 starter on any college program and most likely would obliterate every defender he goes against. I'm not even sure if you're serious right now.

They wouldn’t obliterate every defender they go against, but yes, a lot of the takes here are terrible.

Honestly, you think Boban beats Jordan in a game one on one?

Yes. Boban has 60-70 pounds on MJ and can dunk without jumping.

He'd just back MJ down over and over again and dunk on him.

There are some really bad takes in this thread. Saying bench guys in the NBA would be bench guys in college...you can look at their college play and see that isn't true.

Stanley Johnson was a 5 star recruit, started from day 1 at Arizona, had a great freshman year, left to be a lottery pick and now he barely plays.

There are a lot of guys in the league that are there just because they are huge and semi coordinated. They can't dribble, have no handles and take forever to get off a shot.

This is no one in the NBA, I promise you everyone can play. And I'm sure Jordan can still shoot, but at 57 he won't be able to play effective defense against anyone in the NBA right now.
