Well, I read he's an ex MLS and SUM guy, so pretty much more of the same....

I imagine it'd be pretty hard to find an American that's experienced enough to qualify to be CEO of US Soccer that wasn't part of MLS at some point.
At least without bringing in someone from a different sport.

He doesn't, but it would likely be the nationality that's most likely to accept the position. With as many lawsuits a the new CEO has to deal with, it just further decreases the amount of willing applicants.
