Giannis is freaking awesome. Even early in the game you could see he wanted guys to play hard and tried to lead that by example. He has got some dog in him.

Brandon Ingram is a fan of the Elam Ending. He said he wishes he could’ve played a little bit more. Said he was on a minutes restriction but expects to be fully healthy by New Orleans’ first game after the break.

When you have a Pels player playing in the All Star game it has to do with Pels

FTs in the 4th should just subtract a point from your opponents score so the game can’t end at the line
So the trailing team just intentionally fouls every time, how would the team ever score to win?

It's ok to end on a free throw. It's no different than watching a 2 point game where the leading team gets fouled with 3 seconds, then hits both free throws to go up by 4, and that ends any chance of a big buzzer beater.

I wouldn't advocate any change at all but if you're going to go your route, you'd just do away with free throws altogether IMO, and every foul committed when a team is within 3 points would subtract 1 point AND allow the offense to keep the ball.

There's no difference in one side getting higher and one getting lower. It still changes the score by one point. Want to make in interesting, have them shoot for 2 behind the arc on a free throw.

But it makes a difference when the object of the game is to score a specific number of points to win.

I don't think people are realizing doing it that way that if a team is 2 points away, they will literally never get those 2 points if the other team just keeps fouling them.

It would need to be no free throws, subtract 1 point and offense keeps the ball.

Or, just keep it the way it is because it's just fine that way.

What?

It makes no difference the way we currently play the game with a timed quarter.

It makes all the difference in the world if the object is to get to a certain number of points.

Who are you to decide? Did you even know that a Pelicans player was in the ASG?

Of course. Doesn’t make it a Pels topic to have a game thread for the ASG
