I’m guessing it may be Kevin Faulk. What are your thoughts? Orgeron sounds like it may be a done deal.

Kevin Faulk sounds like he will be named immediately.

I'd be happy to see that. I was really, really excited about Tommie Robinson and he's been a gigantic bust since the day he got here. Hopefully whoever's next can get us back to having 3-deep elite running back talent year in and year out like the 20 years straight before his arrival.

It’s been in the works for a while. His contract expires in March and he was encouraged to seek other opportunities. Faulk is his replacement

This seems a bit extreme?

in what way has he been a "gigantic bust"?

ETA: what running back under TR has underperformed? CEH just had one of the best seasons in the programs history and most here thought he was an average talent.........so TR gets no credit for that?

He was probably referring to recruiting.

Wait, wut...?

LSU has had three different 1,000 rushers each of the last three years.

They are predicted to go 5-7 and no Bowl. He may have a short stay!

A gamecock?!?! Wtf? I thought all the talk was we would lose him to the nfl, why the hell would someone leave to go get fired this year at another school

Because he was told to look elsewhere.

I would say just CEH gives him credibility.

Like others have said, this seems like it was inevitable.

Will they move the recruiting coordinator duties around too? Faulk promoted? Wonder what he can do in recruiting. Guy punched the shite out of TAMU's fAggie staff good enough for me.

When it comes to recruiting Faulk will do just fine. He has been doing on campus recruiting since he's been there. O sees the way recruits react to him.

When he goes in home for recruiting he can wear this year's National Championship ring he got for being on the support staff or he can wear any one of his FIVE Super Bowl rings.

Not the least bit worried about his recruiting.

Robinson is not a bust sir you are sadly mistaken. Look at the recent history CEH , Curry, the freshman backs .
