The great thing about being a contrarian is you can never be wrong.
You can always find a shred of evidence to support your negative worldview. Especially with coaches, because almost all of them fail eventually.
One day maybe Orgeron or Ensminger will fail (again) and get fired, and you can run here and scream “see, I was right all along.”

You have a quote from Miles saying he doesn't want a top offense? I'm sure he'd kill for the 49ers offense this year. I wouldn't equate not wanting to sling it all over the field with not wanting a top offense.

That's basically what Lester did for Les Miles. Only took 12 seasons.
