You are setting yourself up for dissapoinent if you think this team will be better than last year

They will be good not great and should make the tournament but seriously doubt they are good enough to win the SEC like last year

Wade will not be happy with the turnovers. 16 last I saw. Hopefully that’s first game issues. This club out-hustled LSU on loose balls as well. Like I said...first game out of the gate. Wade will coach them up.

Well stated. But if they did get gritty and play tough defense, they could atleast challenge it. Love the backcourt to the traditional 1,2, and 3 especially since days, emitt, and watford can shoot.

But Go ahead and tell me what specifically you disagree with. Wade has all but said he bombed the recruitment of competent big men.

I disagree that he bombed the recruitment of big men. Wade took shot after shot after shot in the media. It was framed that he was going down hard. How was he expected to recruit during all of this? The fact that we got Watford is a minor miracle.

Watford isnt a traditional big man. But valid argument.

Tremont used to single handedly beat the press by himself.

Good call. His absence was definitely felt last night in the flow of the offense. Not saying they can’t be great without him if others step up (e.g. Tennessee win last season), but I think there is a lot he did that will be missed.

No one is melting clown. They have opinions that this team won't win the conference. I agree with them. Will be a good team though, just don't have the size.

And there is a lot he did that won't be missed. Especially at the end of games trying to make highlight plays. Jmo. He will be missed for sure, minus the final minute.

like when he single-handedly beat Michigan his freshman year, like when he hit basically half court three to beat TX a&m, like when he sent the game @ UF to OT on a last second layup, like when he hit a buzzer beater to send us to the sweet 16?.. you're right, who will miss that?

It would be hard to say any team can do what last year’s team did, going 16-2 and winning the league. Kentucky and Florida look stacked right now too.

However, I won’t read too much into one game. Will Wade changed the offense to be more spread out and there are new faces and new roles. A starter from last year is out.

If you’re coming up with this take based on last night’s game you either didn’t watch it, or you are a little touched.
