To some of the posters saying certain players shouldnt leave

This is the price you pay when your team wins the national title. Some players have played themselves into the top 2 rounds and they should leave imo. (Speaking about Queen).
Be happy for them. They gave us something we'll always remember so support their decisons

They should do what's best for them and their families.

You can't be mad at ANY player for leaving after a season like this. If someone told you you could go take college classes for the next 10 months, have $100 in your bank account, live in student housing, etc, or go to a professional organization, have $100K in a bank account and live in pimped out condo or house what would you do? It wouldn't take me longer than 2 seconds to make that decision. None of them can do anything else in college.

But I’d rather we suck than lose players !!! And quit hiring good coaches too since they get poached ! I demand shitty coaches nobody wants!

Thats what we said in 2012-2018. We lost so many juniors to the draft and looked what happened.

Well said, after getting his NFL draft grade, Queen's decision was his to make after consulting with his Father and Mother, who were both great to listen to when they were interviewed by Jacque Doucet from WAFB.

Then why Saban tell his players if they are not going to get drafted in the 1st round they should return. Why 3 of his top players are coming back?

What happened? We still had great seasons during that span that 85% of the college football world would love their teams to have during that time.
This season was just legendary and the players who shined should strike while the iron is hot.They dont owe us fans shite, but they gave us a season that might not ever be matched that will live forever. I say to the players who declare early go on abd get paid.

Yeah, unfortunately that’s what happens when you win a championship.
Players who played well improve their draft stock and feel like they’ve accomplished what they wanted by winning a NC, and declare.
It’s usually the teams that come close but don’t win a championship that usually decide to return for another year to either improve their draft stock or to try to win a NC.
I don’t expect any junior on this LSU team with good draft potential to not declare. Strike while the iron is hot.

Despite what Saban says, his main goal is to destroy LSU every season imo. He never had a season like Coach O just put together this year so you know it ate him up to watch what happened Monday night in person. Saban seems to not care about his players NFL dreams and wants to get as much use outta them so it can benefit Bama and himself.

There's not much left for a lot of these guys to accomplish in college besides get their degree. They all deserve the right to make a living in the NFL after this year if they get a favorable report from scouts. We've recruited well the last two years and will continue doing so to sustain success. This isn't O's first rodeo.

Thats my point. We arent 85%. LSU recruit elite athletes. Majority of those elite athletes leave after their 3rd year. It will alwasy be like that.

Some players will leave and unfortunately will not get drafted where they hope and will be disappointed. Unfortunately, that always happens whether we are champs or not.
I wish them the best of luck. What they accomplished at LSU will be remembered long after I’m gone.
