When can we expect to know for sure? After this week’s games conclude? Trying to schedule a flight back from ATL to NOLA early Sunday after the SEC Championship.

Next Tuesday/Wednesday I believe is the deadline. It’s not getting flexed though with rams/Seahawks on snf

If Rams has lost on Sunday I’d say we’d have a chance

But the Bears screwed that up so we’re stuck at noon.

I know we won’t bump the SNF Rams/Seahawks slot, but why wouldn’t FOX choose to flex this one to 3:25p due to the marquee matchup and to appease West Coast viewership complaining about a “morning” game? And yes, I know the Pats & Chiefs are also there in the same time slot on CBS. Guess I’m hoping for FOX to swap us with Chargers/Jags @ 3:05p (why the hell not?!)

To answer the question about the Chiefs/Pats game on CBS.

One network has the slot for the National Game of the Week. CBS has it with that game, so FOX can leave it at Noon and offer it to NO, SF, KC, NE, SEA, LA, and whoever plays Monday night.

Or they can move it to 3pm and only offer it to NO and SF with no Noon game for those markets.

If the 49ers were still undefeated and we were a 1-loss team then it would have been flexed but neither of those things are in play.

We’ll play them at noon. That should benefit us anyway

It sucks for fans to be an early game, but the game is at noon the 9ers will be losing 2hrs.
This is a good thing for the Saints
Plus were on an mini bye after the thursday game.

What sucks for a fan about being an early game?

southwest fricking cancelled my 7am flight returning from SEC Championship so now I don't land until 11:25. I will probably miss Q1 but will be hauling arse towards the Dome as soon as we land

The 49ers/Ravens game this weekend wasn't flexed because we don't get to see enough Patriots on national television, so I doubt we get flexed either.

The 49ers were also flexed this Sunday so it would have been weird to flex then two weeks in a row. Possibly 3 if they really were thinking of doing it for next week. It’s all about money though.

I agree. Play em at noon. I would imagine the 49ers would rather have a later starting time.
