Fairly easy to put together as these things go. I got on it and just started rowing. After 5 minutes I was thinking, this is pretty easy. Then I stood up and could really feel it in my legs and abs. Definitely a deceptive workout. Somehow I managed to change the monitor language to Hungarian though

I love the C2. Download some Tabata songs and get to it.

Rowed 2k in about 10:30. I understand that is not great but not too terrible for a beginner

Speaking of the concept 2, anybody getting Facebook ads for the concept 2 for $159? Got to be a scam, right?

I would watch some videos on form. I see a whole lot of bad rowing firm where people are not as efficient as they should be

Got to be. You're lucky to find a used one for 800. Those things hold their value ibsanely well.

Yep brand new. $900. With shipping and sales tax a little over 1k. More than I wanted to spend but I really like it. Used ones are hard to find and not much cheaper than new ones.

Check out the xebex 2.0 rower if you want a great rower for a few hundred bucks cheaper. Use mine multiple times a week for the last year and its fantastic.

They're $619 right now at getrxd.com. Got mine during their black Friday sale last year

I have a WaterRower and use the SuperMats mat from Amazon for $60. No slippage on my wood floors and is heavy and thick.
