Little Wing (Hendrix)- cover- Derek and the Dominos.. thoughts on this rearranged piece?

We all know and adore Jimis original original version, its a transcendent song.
& SRVs cover is amazing as well, SRV is a legend, everything he did was gold.
But for those who haven't heard this version before, it's a live version of Derek and the Dominos from Fillmore East 1970. This was Eric Claptons last band before going solo(this is only 2 years post-Cream); and it's an inspired performance.
Wanted the MB's thoughts on it. It's not the same tempo, or arrangement of the original but pretty damn great nonetheless.
What say ye?

Had made a CD a decade ago of Little Wing covers..Sting, EC, D & the Ds, Concrete Blonde, Skid Row, Gun Club, Corrs, etc..
Gotta find it.
Listened to Sting's Nothing Like The Sun daily in 1987.

It’s great.
It’s busy for some folks. Lot more parts. Not just the 3 piece that Jimi and SRV were.
2 great guitarists.

Actually, the Derek and the Dominos version was the first one I ever heard in my youth. Still love it today.

D&D studio version with Skydog is better. Bc well, Skydog shreds.
