Texas talented receivers are big, strong and fast. The only ball dropped was by a Texas running back. No other LSU opponents have such talented receivers except for Alabama. And Alabama’s secondary hasn’t faced anything close such pressure and talent in a game.

LSU has, and the Tigers defense will learn from it, and be prepared for it. Alabama secondary won’t learn how to deal with anything that dramatic until they face LSU’s triple threat. Might be too late by then. Feel really good now about the LSU Tigers defense. Knowing the Tigers learned from being severely tested and Alabama hasn’t.

Don’t want a rematch as bowl projections predict in Sugar!

You had to watch a replay to see that?

I obviously didn’t respect Texas enough. The first time watching Texas vs LSU I was too in to watching Burrow throw, there was never any break in action, I usually went to bathroom when Texas had the ball. Yes LSU had missed tackles but damn dem Texas baws are good.

We’ve been using the “Bama is untested” excuse for 8 years now and it’s never meant shite. I don’t understand why people keep trying to use it.

I’m not saying that we won’t beat Bama this year, but to continue using the “we are tested and they won’t know what hit them” line of thinking is just asinine.

They didn't even throw to their best receiver after Stingley shut him down. Duvernay was a man amongst boys but overall Stingley did the best job as a corner

Alabama won’t know what hit them. LSU offense in the past was a slow moving tank they could see coming.

LSU’s new offense is fast and by air. Alabama’s not ready for Top Gun Joe Burrow.

Do you really believe that. We may score, but if we play like that on d again we will lose 50 to 24

Yeah they did. Fulton shut him down, too.

You’re right. Nick Saban and his staff of 50 analysts don’t have televisions and don’t realize that LSU is running a different brand of offense.

Once again, I’m not saying we don’t have a chance to beat them, and this may be our best chance with Burrow and our offense. But to assume that Bama won’t be ready to play is foolish. Bama will be ready, and hopefully this year we will get the W.

At times, Duvernay looked like a man among boys.

Bama is generally untested because they play a weak schedule.

LSU has not had the line of scrimmage talent to even make a game of it. Not sure our lines are ready this year

If we do the same rush to contain strategy against Bama Tua will destroy us. We do have an opportunity to keep up because of the RPO our receivers and Burrow.

It will be a shoot out in Tuscaloosa if we can protect the passer. Bama will wear out our defense up front there is little doubt.

Surprised the espn gives us a 29.6% chance of winning the game in T town. It actually went down from 29.9 before beating Texas.

Anyway that is why you play the game.

On CFB section of reddit, most fans of several other teams said this WR group overall would probably be the best that LSU sees all season.
I don't know enough about other teams WR groups to agree 100%.
But after seeing them play I would understand if they actually ended up being the best overall group.

Maybe I'm Wrong but it seems like LSU's offensive success against Alabama will greatly depend on their two middle linebackers getting sucked up in play action or dropping back well. If they could find a way to disguise the two and throw us off balance then we're going to have some problems. Because we're not going to have a lot of time to throw. However, if the LSU coaching staff knows that going in and intentionally creates some play action where Joe burrow is intending to run here and there then we could throw them off balance back
