I suggest Arlo. We have them and love them.
Wireless and as soon as motion is detected, it will record for the duration of the activity.
You can put them virtually anywhere and will withstand any weather. The night vision on them is stellar also

After you hit him w your car, reverse back over him. A job is not worth doing, if it’s not done right!

Disclaimer: This is a joke and should not be considered in real life.

The wireless cams are okay, but they lose connection a lot with poor internet and they only record when triggered.

You can put a 32 GB micro SD card in the $25 Wyze cam and set it to record continuously. Wyze says you can get 7 days of continuous video on 32GB. The new person detection Wyze software update seems to be fairly accurate in the week or so it has been available. You can set the alerts to person detection alerts only and it will weed out all the moths, passing cars, ect. motion alerts.

I have a 32 GB card in my Wyze cam but have never checked how many days of continuous recording will fit. Wyze recommends using up to 32 GB cards but it's been verified that it will work with 64 & 128 cards.

Dick.

I think I'm going with this and adding at least 2 cameras at $50 each. I think this is reasonable and will do the job: Anybody see a problem with this system?

I came to post to a basic NVR setup like this, but since you have that covered, I'll go ahead and link to a 5 minute solution if you need something to get you going quickly. I have a couple of these, have had success with them with some very poor internet connections, and you can slip a sd card in them.

I hope that man has stopped harassing you bud! We use a wireless camera, that when movement is detected, it sends a notification and I can speak to them, wherever I am in the world. I know this is not enough to stop someone from doing stuff but should be enough to scare them perhaps?

Hopefully you got this worked out but in addition to whatever camera system you picked, you should also get a dog.

German Shepherd works for us.

It’s mostly for peace of mind but most people are scared of messing with property that has large dogs.
