The Hella Mega Tour announcement got me thinking back on how much time I spent listening to these two albums in my early teens.
Which do you prefer/think is better?

Wow i wasnt expecting to think this hard today at work.
But I'd say I listened to The Blue Album more than Dookie, but I think more songs stood out to me on Dookie than The Blue Album. Both ICONIC tho

The blue album is one the smoothest albums..love to listen to the whole thing start to finish...only in dreams is a fantastic closer

I'm only basing it from me wearing out the Dookie CD more than Blue (I also had the full size Dookie poster, that album cover in full size is amazing).
Dookie started me on the path of good music early on.
That said, Dookie/Insomniac and Blue/Pinkerton are really amazing 90s one-two punches
If you asked me today as an adult I'd pick Blue

At the time they were released, I would have said Dookie. It was one of the first CDs I ever got. Current me says The Blue Album all day.

Me 25 years ago would have said Dookie. Today I choose The Blue Album. But Dookie is great.
Same here, but I think I had it on cassette first.
