I've always liked Cleveland putters. They're now saying that MOI in the back for "forgiveness purposes" could actually be cause excessive movement from side to side. Interesting read. $200 price tag will keep me away from these for a bit. Edwin Watts has them and they feel great fwiw.

ALSO, If you're a Cally Chrome Soft fan, you have to try out the Snell MTB Black. An excellent ball.

Personal favorite.

Might be my next purchase. I usually miss on the toe when I rush my stroke.

I'm still using my old Cleveland from 2004. Love that putter. Might take a look at this one.

This looks a lot like what Ping has been doing or claiming they are doing for the past few years.

Ping still puts the weight waaaayyyy back. Just got rid of an Oslo and a Tyne because of this. Went back to Edwin Watts and rolled this some more. It's definitely worth checking out. Feels like a blade but has the perks of more alignment help. Gonna get it... just going to wait till it drops.

Chappy, you tried them Snell MTB-Blacks yet, baw?

I have not. I still have a 2 dozen ProVs to go through, and 2 sleeves of Callaway Chromesofts. It's on my to do list though.

DO they make a yellow one? I'm all aboard on the yellow ball train.

Yep. I was a ChromeSoft guy for the past three years. All this quality control issues started popping up with the CS, so I started looking. Snell is where it's at.

Picked one up. Havent played with it yet, but I think it's a long term keeper. Feel is great, and rolls the ball so damn straight. Excellent putter.

Is the MTB-X comparable to the ProV1 orProV1X ?

The new pings are looking sweet.

That would depend on which year model youre comparing them to. I think titleist switched up some stuff in recent models.

I think the X compares to the V1x. I like a slightly softer feel myself. Well worth the money though. You will not find a better ball in that price range.

I like the fanged look but want a milled face. Ping is losing out on money for not offering milled faces in all models IMO
