I'll be in Dallas for business this weekend. Likely staying downtown. Is there a certain spot that LSU fans/alumni gravitate to in Dallas?

The Dallas Alumni Association lists DIBS on Victory as the official watch party. I lived in Dallas for 4 years and never heard of this place, but looks like they have a decent TV setup and it will be easy to get there from Downtown.

Dodies on Lower Greenville is a cajun restaurant that will be pro LSU.

Renfield's and Christie's in Uptown will have it on too. Luckily for you, UT is the team we are playing so every sports bar in the city is going to have this game on.

I was going to say just drive to Austin and catch the game with some tailgaters but looks like everybody is in a good mood today!

Is Champp’s still open in Los Colinas area? That would be a good place to watch game and eat/drink

DIBS on Victory Park Lane is the new Dallas Watch Party Location. It is also the place for the Mavericks and Dallas Stars watch Party locations. It is really nice.

I would love to, but I'm going for a work trip. I won't have the time to drive down to Austin just to tailgate. Or rather the time I will set aside for LSU will be better served drinking with fellow Tiger fans than half of it spent in a car.

Looks like Dibs or Dodies it is. Maybe I'll try to book my hotel within stumbling distance of one of them.

I went to DIBS this weekend and it was really good. The restaurant and alumni association really went all out on it. Also DIBS is built for sports watching so there are good tv viewing angles from every seat.

I loved Dodies, but they started going down hill a few years ago when they sold out to a UT alumn. I do not think they are an LSU bar anymore, just a place where LSU fans go because it’s Cajun.

There are two Dodies. One on lower Greenville and one on upper Greenville. The one on upper Greenville has always been a great place to spend big LSU games. Definitely get there early though. Even better on days when they have alcohol promo people there and LSU drink specials.

Tried to make one Dallas LSU Alumni event once but there was no one at the bar where it was supposed to be.
