IT LIVES!

I lifted yesterday and Monday. Going on a beach trip tomorrow. They have an “exercis room” so hopefully I’ll be able to get at least some kind of resistance work in.

I think the heaviest weight is a 50 lb dumbbell. I’m about to hit a ton of volume:

I've been working, but not posting.

Strongman tonight due to a weird week.

5 sets of farmers walks from 200 per hand up to 250.

Some shrugs in giant sets with GHD situps and bandy twisty things x4.

Front rack yoke walk and sledgehammers x2.

I just worked out with a 65 lb dumbbell. Not a pair, one dumbbell.

When I was in China, one of the gyms was literally a plastic chair and dumbbells going up to 30lbs. Once I got to Hong Kong, there was an actual gym next door to my hotel and they gave hotel guests access.

I assume that is the closest I'll ever feel to finding an oasis after being stranded in the desert.

Heavy work. Bench is still waaay down from being sick.

355x4 squats. 495x2 deads. 235x2 bench.

Barbell hack squats 405x4 in superset with hip thrusts for 3 rounds.

Single arm farmers walks in giant set with weighted ab wheel x2. Some pool cardio to finish. It's summer.

Today is the last day of our little beach trip. I kept things under control and didn’t get wasted on alcohol and super shitty food. I did, however, enjoy Maker Mark and a couple of cigars. I’m so ready to get back to the grind though. I actually got some compliments on my physique. Apparently I lost some belly fat and bulked up on my shoulders.

Chest day today. Got the 100lb dumbbells up on incline bench, so yay me. Weights are up with reps staying 12 to 15 each set. My fatcepts are immaculate.

New pr of 515x2 on deadlift.

355x3 squats after. I wasn't pushing it bc I got less than 4 hours sleep last night. 2 supersets of BB hack squats and hip thrusts.

235x2 on bench. Bench is still severely lagging. Single arm farmers walks and weighted ab wheel to finish.

Had a work conference in Phoenix this week and stayed out too late. I was still really happy about the deadlift PR.

2 sets of yoke walk with 455 in a giant set with shrugs and calf work. Then some ab circuit with weighted ab wheel, gorilla grip and banded twisty things.
