Next year, you're looking at Zion, Okafor, and Diallo as the only three bigs on the roster. I'm not really thrilled with Okafor as a starter.

Griffin can try to get another starting big in the draft, through free agency, or by packaging some of the picks and players that we just acquired.

What do y'all think is most likely?

[Edit: Yes, Christian Wood will also be on the team. He's also likely not a starter for us next year, so my question remains the same.]

Manute's Boy

Trade down, get him. Bulk him up and give him Embiid type minutes/rules.

Unless you can find a unicorn, center is a short term position. The best Pels lineups in the future will have Zion as the 5. So no reason to really invest in a long term 5.

Spend the money elsewhere, sign a more traditional 5 for a couple of years at smaller money. Use this time to figure out who to put next to Zion.

I don’t see Naz as a starter in this league any time soon

I'm not opposed to spending one of our two 2nd-round picks on Naz, but we also need someone who can be a starter for us next year, and Naz is not yet ready to be a bench player in the NBA, much less a starter.

I would love something like Zo & #4 to Indy for Turner. Add DLO (haven't checked money so I don't even know if that would be in the cards)

DLO/FJ
Jrue/Moore/Hart
BI/Kendrich
Zion/Wood
Turner/Okafor

now I'm not a big BI fan, but that is a squad he could fit into very nicely

Any thoughts on dedmon?

I feel like he's the best value for a center that can shoot/defend

Good fit. Can bang, protect the rim some, and stretch the floor.

He might have played himself into too much money, but he is a good target. A solid modern 5

I like Dedmon a lot. Definitely a complementary piece to Zion bc like you said he can space & defend

and at this point, we need all the spacing we can get

Dedmon, Brooke Lopez, and in a trade scenario Myles turner. All would fit perfect on this team

What is Alex Ajinka up to these days besides spending the Pels money he didn’t earn?
