what is an incomplete thread title?

I made a post title saying

"Ripoll...."


and continued the title asking a question.


i got a warning for it and thread was removed.

Because you’d have every thread titled “Question...” or “Mainieri...” and no one would know what the thread is about.

Don’t say yours was “about Ripoll, you should know that from the title.” It could be about whatever you’re asking, what kind of socks his uncle wears, or what his favorite variety of tomato may be.

One word is usually not enough to tell what a thread will be about. Therefore, one-word titles are usually frowned upon.
