Fellas...it is with great pleasure for me to announce that #10 Vince Young has been cleared of *drunk driving* charges stemming from his DUI arrest in Fort Bend County. What are the facts? What do we know? We know he won back to back Rose Bowls and loves the Cheesecake Factory.

Remind me to hire his lawyer next time I'm passed out in my car at a stop light in the middle of the night

You know having charges reduced and charges cleared, aka dropped, are two different things right?

The dwi charges were dropped. The obstructing a highway charge was not. Nothing was reduced, just had some of the initial charges removed.

ETA: I know the tweet says reduced, but I can just about promise you the obstructing a highway charge was always there.

Oh thank god. My family and I were losing sleep over this. Thanks for confirming. I'll call my wife and make sure my little girl knows.

You mom needs to stop giving legal advice when she answers the phone. Legal secretary means you greet the caller and forward the call only.

Very good result considering he was charged with a DWI 2nd. In Texas this means something unlike in Louisiana where you have to be .08 to pass your driver's test.

Bottom line, UT shouldn't have fired him. What happened to waiting until all the facts come out? Reactionary culture in 2019.
