I mean, I completely agree. But I don’t think anyone expected these guys to be gone. Thy are just taking advantage of the new draft process.

Confident they're coming back. Would be good momentum if they all make it official sooner than later, plus Watford, to help Wade close a big. We desperately need a juco transfer to replace KBW. Just don't know if there's much out there and may be slim pickings.

Your right but then again anything could happen so knowing they are officially back would make me feel better.

They’ll all be back no reason to even worry about anything different. They’ll all have strategic announcements they’re returning to build up the program. We’re getting Watford Monday and the real question is who else is hopping on board! #BootUp

Does anyone know what our starting lineup will be if they all come back?
I’m guessing:
Mays
Smart
Taylor
Days
Watford
Emitt will be the 6th man. What other guards are we expecting to be major contributors next year?
That’s still a damn good roster compared to what Wade inherited, but I don’t know that it’s SEC champion level good.

Also Hyatt and Cooper will be coming off their redshirts and should be ready if I remember correctly

Exactly right. It would almost be stupid for any of our players not to get their names out there for the future. It opens them up to NBA scouts, coaches, etc. who will at least know their faces to go along with their names to make an impression. I don't blame any of them for taking advantage of that opportunity. Everyone but naz, waters, and bigby-Williams will be returning. With the returning talent we have, the players from previous classes that didn't play last year because we were so talented/deep, and the freshman class/transfers joining the squad this season, we will be absolutely ready to defend our SEC championship. We actually have a chance to be a better team than last year IMHO. Experience and team chemistry mean a hell of alot in any sport, but especially basketball when you have such a young team like we did last season. I can't wait to see how our team looks next season under CWW! Geaux Tigers! #BootUp!

I don't have any sources so I don't know how intensely Wade is searching for a big. But it just doesn't seem like he's in an uproar trying to find one. Maybe he likes the idea of Cooper stepping in and replacing KBW. Cooper has the size and length to be that guy. Maybe after a year in the system and a year in the weight room has got him close enough to be a good rim protector in the SEC. IDK, but we will see.
