Another way to look at it is would you game on the memphis pick to get 1 or 2, or take what is known at 3 from the knicks?

Based off the pingpong balls last night, i would look at the NYK pick 3 as more valuable.

sry = looks like this was basically already stated, so i agree

Yep. The reality is most of the picks on the table aside from the ones in 2019 will most likely pan out to be in the 15-30ish range. This is why I tend to favor New York's #3 over LA's #4. If you give AD to LA that team is guaranteed to make the playoffs over the next few years barring a major catastrophe. LA's future first round picks will be of marginal worth.

FYI, Celts really wanted that pick to roll over to next year because they thought it would allow them to hold Jaylen out of the deal.

I think they are right.

Tatum, Smart, Grizz pick, other lesser FRPs and filler should get it done.

Not sure with Knicks getting #3 pick.

If this team isn't in LOVE with somebody they can grab at 3 or 4, they should play the long game.

Jason Tatum is not the long game.
The long game, which I agree they should play, is to get the Knicks #3 this year and that Dallas unprotected pick for 2021.
