Looks like they've been slowly moving up towards the Samsung phone prices over the last few years.

Yes, they are. The budget-minded Oneplus 7 will also be released at the same time as the Pro version but, with all of the focus being on the Pro version, not much info has been released about the regular OP7 yet.

I believe the 6T was released last year for $550, so I'd imagine the OP7 comes in close to that.

Edit: woops nevermind. OP7 won't be released in US.

I read that the 7 wasn't going to be sold in the US. Maybe I'm wrong about that.

That's still a great price compared to the S10+, cheaper than I was expecting.

Interesting decision to not release the OP7 in the US and keep selling the 6T instead

That's unfortunate they aren't doing the 7 here. I'm not a fan of them continuing to go higher.

I have a 5T that I got for 499 and it is the best phone I've ever used and it is still just as fast as it was the day I got it.

Don’t get me wrong. I’ve LOVED OnePlus.

BUT. They’re leaving their sweet spot. Price creep is out of control. $500ish is their optimal range.

I am seeing a couple nod & winks in interviews hinting towards the OP7 being released in the US later in the year. If it's 6-months down the road, I'd imagine it being a 7T version.

Curious to see if OP starts going the annual route of Flagship phone released in May (in order to beat the iphone annual fall releases) and then a budget phone 6 months or so later.
