Say we get Justin Flowe.

And what’s left to choose from on our board.

Worst case scenario should be #3 at this point.

Lawd this is exciting!

Taking the wait-and-see approach.

Still a very long way to go before NSD 2020.

I get that.

It just feels like something special is happening......with so many out of state studs committing

We had an out of state stud commit and commit to Oregon a week or two later.

I'm pumped about recruiting all year, every year, but thats why signing day is so big. Just so much can happen between now and then.

Then IMO we finish with the following:

Ashaad Clayton
Sedrick Van Pran
Jacqueline Roy
Jacobian Guilory
Eric Reed
Major Burns
Marcus Dumervil
Miller Merriweather-Lewis
Marlon Martinez
Branard Wright

That's going to be 307+ points on 247 and probably a first place finish.

1. LSU
2. Clemson
3. Bama

If Justin Flowe does not come aboard he is replaced with Joel Williams and we finish with 301+ probably behind Clemson at number 2.

1. Clemson
2. LSU
3. Bama

Just a stab at this point in the game.

I think you need to replace Reed and Burns with Ransom and Alford.

Which is odd, two instate guys surplanted by Texas and Arizona, but thats how its looking..

And Branard Wright and Jalen Lee may be a race to the commitment line

Because ranking sites are biased towards certain schools.

Overcoming the Bama bump is nearly impossible now days. It will take an epic class and honest prospect evaluators for it to happen. I gave up expecting for LSU to ever end up with a #1 class on a while back.

Fair enough. I just put the list out there hoping to get some feedback.

Do we have the room though? They are wanting a loaded OL/DL class.... Ransom has a spot Im sure.... not sure how Alford / Reed fall on their board...

Alabama has more paying members on the recruiting sites. LSU and Clemson don't have as many.

As the players get re-ranked you will see the "Bama bump" come into play. Just like last year when LSU's QB signee made Bama'a QB signee look like a dope in their state championship game AND the Polynesian Bowl and the Bama guy was still rated higher.

At the same time Kardell, who had dominated the camp circuit, was on vacation at a meaningless all-star game and was dropped from the #1 OG and 5-star to #4 and a 4-star.

Bama will be #1 and LSU and Clemson will be 2/3 in no particular order and everyone will be happy.

Regardless of the final ranking by the Bama-sites I know who will actually have the best class.

winning more than 10 games will determine how this class finishes.

it's been a while.

To this point, LSU is getting these commitments too early - allowing for gradual bumps down between now and December.

10 of our 13 just got downgraded on ESPN during the break between state championships (December) and now - spring practice has not even started for most!

It's only a matter of time before Rivals bumps all of Bama's 3-star commits to high 4-stars too.

Imo it really depends on how many Clemson takes. They are really on pace for a historical class, they are even turning away 5-star guys at certain positions.

By the time it's finished I expect it to be LSU, Clemson, UGA and Bama in no particular order. UGA tends to start slow and add players towards the end. They have a high average right now.
