Came here for that quote. Watching this movie as a kid made me want to be an old farm hand.

I loved this movie as a kid. My dad was a truck driver and his work ended up with the trailer from the movie. You could see the Dusty decal across it. As a 15 year old I thought it was one of the coolest things ever.

Yep. There is a different sequel with George Strait in it. Pure Country 2: The Gift.

I really liked Pure Country.

To me, it came across more as reality tv. It was so realistic it was like watching them irl.
