Pete has been trying to pick a fight with Pence for weeks and Pence isn’t having it.

Kernen: So you accept it as law?
Pence: And when I was governor of Indiana, we fully implemented that decision in the law. But, Joe, I have my Christian values. My family and I have a view of marriage that's informed by our faith. And we stand by that. But that doesn't mean that we're critical of anyone else who has a different point of view

That is the perfect response that is full
class and respect.
Sadly, the left will label him a homophobic bigot for not totally bowing to his knees and accepting their POV.
That response is fair and represents what a majority of people most likely believe. However the Left has bullied people into silence and acceptance by calling people homophobes and bigots.

Pence has always been the boogyman for the LGTB community and the Mayor is playing to his fundraising base and it's a pretty influential group with lots of money and friendly media access.

This measured of a response in the face of some of the most blatant gotcha journalist questioning shows what a class-act he is, and great a pick he was for VP.
