I've never seen people so angry that a sitting president wasn't involved in crimes

I mean, putting aside politics for a minute, why would anyone hope that the president of your country was involved in a crime? Especially one as heinous as was implied: undermining democracy. It's quite literally hating your own country enough to wish harm upon it by hoping that the president was involved in illegal activity, just because you don't like him.

Sick, sad people that we're dealing with.
