The timing of the WW situation

I don't come on the rant a ton so not sure if discussed in depth yet. Something tells me this isn't a coincidence this happen right before tournament play. Someone from outside was making sure this happend sooner than later.

IMO what happened is simple. One part of the prosecution ended. Defense attorney released the tapes to the press(Yahoo).

Basically this. And I'm convinced the timing was deliberate. It's not like Wade's subpoena was breaking news.
We haven't heard the entire wiretap, but the juiciest soundbite was released. If there was anything more incriminating, that would've been released already, too.

No, my guess is he found out Wade may have cooperated and decided to take it out on him.
Alternatively, defense team wants to tell a narrative that everyone is doing this to sway public opinion and is fully aware the judge is not going to let them put on this type of evidence at trial because it's irrelevant.

Yep...as soon as LSU was breaking into the Top 10 early March & a threat to Win the SEC ...the story broke. NO COINCIDENCE on the timing

The defendant’s (Christian Dawkins) attorneys released it at the time to displace the attention, sentence and charges from their client. It worked like a charm.

The only reason more info hasn’t been released is because the judge put a stop to it. He basically threatened the defense to stop or else.
Best case scenario is Wade never takes the stand.
That’s what all LSU fans should pray for.
And a coup to get rid of Alleva and FQueen of course.

It’s as deliberate as the Mueller report being released on a Friday afternoon during the start of March Madness. The timing was anything but a coincidence. None of that would have mattered if our nutless “leadership” hadn’t overreacted. It sickens me to know we have so many layers of stupid to clean out before we can move our university forward, and it’s all dependent on a state full of low IQ freeloading voters to start the healing process this Fall.

To be accurate and for clarification purposes, the defense attorney didn’t release the TAPES. He released a TRANSCRIPT based on a portion of the tapes. Whether it’s the media, LSU, or the NCAA, nobody has actually heard the tapes. That’s the most ridiculous part of this whole situation. Assumptions and decisions have been made without hearing one second of actual audio.
