Keep at it. You'll be drinking from a firehose for around 6 months, then things should begin clicking.

The hardest to grasp is MPLS but once you get it it's not so bad.

Been applying to jobs with 0 experience and in the middle of finishing my IT degree. What’s the best way to attack the job market with 0 experience and unfinished degree. Little background- have. Business degree from a few years ago with oil and gas work experience for 7 years.

Brutal honesty here. Don’t. Best you might get is an internship or a completely shi$ job at a desperate company. Finish you degree, get an entry level help desk / support job in a smaller company where you will be forced to be exposed to more networking, server, help desk, project, etc work than you would working in a large siloed IT dept. Then you got resume material for whatever position you thing you will enjoy the most. You may even be able to get a few certs in that area while you are working. Student worker job in IT at school wouldn’t be bad to look into either. If your resume as explained above hit my stack, it would immediately go to the does not qualify stack unless we were looking for an intern. It’s competative now, certainly not like it was in the past where an IT degree was gold. You could have a PHD in IT, and we would pass you over for someone with an associates or bachelors with time in the trenches and real world applications of the theory they learned to get their degree. Funniest thing in the world is the reaction we get after our skills test from 4.0 new graduates, most associate degrees with experience blow their scores out the water. Just some random advice from an IT Director of 20 years.
