Some of the "sectional" series people put out don't really have satisfying conclusions at the end of their sections if you know what I mean.
Wax and Wayne are the second portion in a four part sectional story based in their world of the Cosmere. With the original mistborn trilogy being the first section obviously and he ended that very well.

I saw that either Sanderson himself mentioned or someone posted that there will be 4 eras of mistborn books. With wax and Wayne wrapping up era 2. The 3rd is suppose to be set in the early computer age and 4th more set in space

I don't care regardless, guess I just noticed he completely avoids saying people are about to get it on.

Finished the first book this weekend. such a great read.

This series has gotten me back into reading fantasy. Highly recommended

Only halfway through way of kings, which feels like an achievement due to its size. Every chapter feels important and not too wordy.

Very excited to find this series

Agree. Oathbringer was the best novel I have read in years. Dalinar's arc is fantastic as is Kaladins and Szeths.

I am now 15% of the way through book 3.

2 was incredible, and loved the vast majority of it.

Shallan's arc gets on my ever loving nerves at times, but hoping she improves. I don't enjoy constant teen angst

She gets better but she stayed my least favorite.
