No Peter Green, no Fleetwood Mac.

Saw both iterations. Both statements are true. Waddy Wachtell is the only guitarist who could have stepped in seamlessly.

What about the Bob Welch era?

I’ll say this. I went to the show tonight not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised.
Mike Campbell did a hell of a job they played what you would expect plus black magic woman and Oh Well. It was a VERY good show. I will say the vocals sound mix was off a few times but overall very good show.

Literally. He founded the band, but knew before hand he wasn't gonna stick around long, so he named it after the drummer and bassist.
Peter Green was so good at guitar that he replaced Eric Clapton in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. That was where he found Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. It was Mick Taylor, who later joined the Rolling Stones, that replaced Peter Green in the Bluesbreakers.

Lindsey is Fleetwood. I hate that petty issues on both sides kept it from happening.

He left the band from 1987-1996 and nobody missed him.

I completely understand the hardcore fans being upset about this, but as a casual fan who likes Neil Finn, I would definitely go see them. It's weird, some substitutes are OK, like Vince Gill for Glenn Frey (RIP). But, any Van Halen without Roth or Sammy is gross.

Saw them last night, had not expectations going in and it was actually a great show.
Mick Fleetwood put on a great drum solo.
Not bad at all.

I think Neil Flynn is doing an excellent job, his voice is well suited for the material.

I like Neil Finn--seen him. I like Mike Campbell--seen him.
That being said, I'm sure it was a good show, but I've seen FM with Buckingham too many times to pay out the nose for a substitute.
