the only non-pushover advice itt was from me telling sfp to stick to his hobby and tell her to gtfo but IM the pushover

40-50 hours a week is not a hobby

between running a law practice, posting on here, and playing poker that much SFP has himself a damn angel

There was a time in my life where I had too many hobbies. Then family, kids and a real job got in the way so I had to narrow my hobbies down and prioritize them.

i haven't played that much in over a year. i only played like 7 times in 2018

*ETA: that wasn't as much from gf edict as much as other life things happened. those externalities have passed, hopefully, so i have free time

I wouldn’t call that a hobby. More of a bad habit

Trying to get a list and consider some hobbies to take up to replace poker.

Look into driving a bread truck while you go to law school. But be warned that even one friendly game with your professors could draw you back in, and be wary of any unscrupulous friends you have that may have just gotten out of prison.

I’m sure it was covered in the last 15 pages, but at 33 I committed to running.

I bought a garmin watch and my first pair of nice shoes to make sure I stick to it.

Been life changing and I’m in incredible shape and have friends I never would have made it not for getting into it.

I enjoy it as a whole but trail running became a favorite and I enjoy traveling to places in TX and getting off the beaten path.

i'll be your poker coach for $20/hour

before my sister had the 1st grandkid and my mom moved to TX to live with that family, i was going to teach her 4-8. it's a social thing at one of the casinos out here. lots of retired folks playing every day

she's a math teacher so i figured it would help stimulate her math brain

they eat off the comps daily
