What does it look like the weekend rotation is going to be? Walker, Hess, Hilliard? What’s AJ Labas’ and Storz status?

To start the season the rotation will be Hess on Fri, walker on sat, Marceaux on Sunday.
Don’t expect storz to pitch this season and Labas won’t be ready until the second half of the season if at all.
Hilliard will start out midweek or in the bullpen

Landon Marceaux is looking good to be a weekend starter as a freshman, so Hilliard will probably be either a long reliever for a weekend series or the midweek starter. My guess for SEC play:
Fri - Hess
Sat - Marceaux
Sun - Walker
Fri - Hess
Sat - Marceaux

I think Eric Walker is going to have a very good year. He will end up being our best starter.

Need to see that his command is back before passing judgement. Word out of fall camp was that his stuff was back to 2017 quality but he was having command issues. This is common after having TJ. Command is the last thing to return. Hopefully he is squared away by SEC play.

I wish we could have the luxury of putting Hess back at closer. He just doesn’t belong as a starting pitcher having to hold back to pitch deep into games.
