If you disagree then you didn’t watch the first half

quote:I think we're misinterpreting Rondo/Cousins fire and emotion for the reason for success and not their general competence at playing basketball.
They had fire and emotion this team lacks without their presence.
Meaning, if you added to this current team 2 players essentially the same as Rondo/Cousins in skill but soft spoken instead, this team would be worlds better. It's that they a really good and a competent player more so than their fire and passion that made us successful.

Or that Rondo is a much better coach than Gentry and Erman put togther?

Payton is not much of a step down from Rondo, arguably may be better on the court, but Rondo brought with him a leadership we have frankly not had in the AD era.
Cousins routinely brought out a side of AD we’ve rarely seen before or since. A feeling of having another superstar and a fire and passion in his game to game he sometimes struggles with even when putting up big numbers.
I think people deeply undervalued how much synergy and team cohesion matters in the NBA and sports in general. Yes talent is obviously number one, but it’s more than just that imo.

How do you not win when reknown non-scorer Elfrid scores 25 and the starting 5 averages about 20
