Love it. Been there several times. Never had something I didn't like. Also really enjoy Elsie's Plate and Pie off Govt.

Been about 10 times, and order to go quite a bit. It's a limited menu, but all good, husband and wife owner/chefs are Commander's vets. Nice cozy bistro setting.

Their chicken and sausage gumbo ya-ya is very good, shrimp and grits, shrimp poboys, veal fettuccine, seafood platter, all salads, fried green tomatoes, red beans and rice, etc..

I prefer it to Byronz.

the meal itself. I don't recall the exact dishes that everyone had so they were all disappointing that night. I do remember one person ordered an oyster poboy and there was ridiculously few oysters and the bread was stale.

This visit was surprisingly bad considering our other visits were positive. That was the third out of three times we've visited so I can't comment as to whether they bounced back. I suspect it was an isolated bad night for the kitchen but that's just a guess.
