Where should we go to break it in? Been getting reports from Vermilion Bay about muddy water and low salinity. Should we head east to Dularge area or west to Joseph’s Harbor or Big Lake?

The cove is a muddy damn mess with all the rain, me and UncJD hit Big Lake Tuesday fished Turners. camps, rocks in channel, and moss lake. Not a single sign of trout.
Some reports coming from the Leeville and east, not sure how far ya wanna roll?
If nothing else maybe hit Marsh Island for some reds if just looking to wet a line and run the boat
Weather looks better next wk

No doubt about that. I haven’t heard any good reports here on the west side this season. Too much rain for marsh shrimp, muddy water, etc. I’m more of a flat boat, cast net on the weir rat who fishes sometimes, but I get reports from people who are better capitalized. They been grumbling this fall.
