Does Brennan challenge Burrow for playing time next year?

I like Burrow as much as the next guy and I'm not pinning the loss on him by any means
But I think we have to consider that Brennan might actually have a higher upside as a passer
We should have a pretty good group of WRs with Chase and Marshall in their 2nd years

It's not Brennan or Burrow, we just need a better Head Coach and Offensive coach. We had Ensingmer in 2016 and he scored the same amount of points against Bama that he did this year. Goose egg.

Why not play him some in the next 3 games? He can even play in the bowl game and still redshirt.

Both guys are pocket passers that cant scramble good enough to keep plays alive.
I honestly dont see Brennan ever starting at LSU and if he does I think he will be replaced for a dual threat QB who can run RPOs a lot better.

Brennan needs to play in some of these last 4 games.

If Brennan doesn't have more upside than Burrow then he might as well just go play JUCO ball. We've all seen how bad Burrow is this year.

With only three games left (plus a bowl game), Brennan's redshirt is secured, so he should see some snaps against Arkansas and considerable playing time against Rice.
