thus far the pels are the only team to have played less than 4 games, many have played 5. that changes tonite and into next week

FRI vs BKN
SAT vs UTAH (BTB)
MON @ DEN
WED @ GSW
THU @ PDX (BTB)

brutal...

combined record of the next 5 opponents is 15-7. 2-2 is the worst record (BKN & UTA). 4 straight WC contenders, 3 on the road and 2 BTB's.

the good news is after this stretch (and the two road games that follow it) the schedule evens out. Tonites game is critical.

3-2 would be amazing, over that and this team is ELITE.

6-2 or better after that stretch with no injuries and we will know we have a real contender in the blender.

It’s Portland we are playing not PHX. Unless you meant to put PDX.

Then we have SA and OKC

UT
@DEN
@GS
@POR
@SA
@OKC

That is outrageous. I could see us being 5-5 after this. 7-3 would be amazing.

I really want to see how this team and specifically AD does against Utah. Gobert did a very good job at slowing down AD last year. I feel like AD has this game marked down and expect him to come out fired up.

Same here. I know Rudy is all-world defense, but the Clippers made a huge effort in the first half to keep the Pels out of the paint too. That slowed the offense down tremendously...... until they started having foul trouble. I expect the Jazz to try the same thing because they have more firepower on the offensive side of the ball, along with better interior defenders.

This game will be strength on strength so the X factor lies in 3 guys: Favors vs Mirotic / Randle.

Jrue will have his hands full with Mitchell / Exum, AD with Gobert. Payton with Rubio.

If Joe "Everyone's Single Uncle" Ingles & Crowder can be kept in check and off the 3 point line by Etwan and the gang, it all comes down to what Favors can do to slow those guys down and what can those guys do to slow him down IMO.

Tonight is a must win.

After that, going 2-2, or even 1-3 without anyone getting hurt would be good enough for me

1-0 to start the gauntlet
UTA is a 2 point favorite on the road tonite with the pels on a back to back

Miller is OUT
Randle is PROBABLE

Who will get millers minutes?

maybe just maybe Wes can stay on ingles.
UTA is not as fast or athletic as BKN

put holiday on Mitchell and I guess just live with whatever Rubio does.
pels match up fine IF they can prevent a layup line...if they can’t it will be trouble

NARRATOR: “they could not prevent a layup line”

1-1 now on to DEN
jokic is a savant but he’s not the inside beast that Gobert is. If Davis can play pels can win.
they got plenty of open shots last night, have to see them go in on Monday

I'm happy with 1 win from 3 which takes us to 5-3 which I'm ok with. Anything more is a bonus. to go 0-4 is troublesome
