I've been fortunate to have a lot of life-changing moments in the last few years. Along with my close friend and partner @el_ac_slater I'll be cooking in a restaurant that we can call our own in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. Very excited to be a part of this great city and grateful for my time with @alonshaya and the @pomhospitality teams @eatwithsaba and @eatwithsafta Thank you to @philvettel for helping us to tell the next chapter. Galit Restaurant. Coming early 2019.

Probably got sick of Alon not talking about the food but only about HR issues. It was fine to hear once, but not every single damn time you hear about the restaurant. Tell me more about why the hummus is $92 dollars.

Alon has really come off as insufferable on social media since the Besh departure. His constant explanation of their super progressive HR policies seem very forced/inauthentic.

Hummus ranges from $10-20. And includes a bread baked in house. Since the hummus also includes things like corn and crab or wood fired hatch Chile let’s just compare it to pizza. At that price seems pretty reasonable to me.

The price is what it is....but I guess I expected Saba to be the next iteration of his vision....not just a Shaya redux.

He was implicated by name in the Besh allegations. For some reason he screamed really loud from the other side and was never taken to task for it.
Which is honestly fine from my view. Besh lost his whole world because he wouldn't leave his wife for his side piece.
