Anybody know of a good four wheeler winch to buy? Don’t want something that’ll pull a house down, just a reliable and tough brand. Preciate it

I haven't been in that market for a while, but I have never regretted buying a Warn brand winch. I would buy a Warn in the appropriate size for whatever you are going to mount it on.

Super winch has always worked well enough for me, way less expensive than Warn. I just don't use one enough to justify paying almost double.
I would not go any cheaper than that.

Warn has let me down in the semi recent past. Switched to KFI along with a lot of others I know and none of us have had issues yet.

Not sure if they are still available. But I have had a Rule Winch on my Honda since 2002. Never had a problem with it.

I have two Viper winches and one Warn. I've rebuilt the Warn twice due to stripped gears. Never had any problems with the Vipers. Which ever you buy, make sure you get the synthetic rope.

I'm friends with a good bit of guys who shrimp for a living. They all use Superwinches. If they good enough for a trawl boat in a saltwater environment I'm sure they'll be great on your ATV. Put some Spectra or Dyeema rope on it.
