What can y'all tell me about Amir Abdur-Rahim?

Obviously if y'all want to delete this, feel free to, but it looks like Tom Crean is close to hiring Abdur-Rahim as an assistant coach for UGA.
The UGA boards I'm sure will spin this as some grand-slam hire no matter what, so I wanted to get the people who saw him in action as a recruiter/developer the best's opinion.
Is this a good hire for us?

We had a good season last year and I’ve heard our head coach is terrible. The other assistant we had that our fans said was responsible for us being good left two seasons ago, so it was probably Amir all along. You guys are getting a world beater.

But yeah I remember his name from his Grizz days. Forgot he was on our bench until I heard the news he was headed to UGA.

2 years ago he was the worst coach on our staff, this year, he was probly the best.
