Going to Omaha for CWS. Bringing wife 6 year old and 1 year old sons. Places to eat, visit, etc.? Thinking of going to university Nebraska to look at stadium. Worth hour drive? Then going Branson for a week. Going to Sights and sounds and silver dollar city. Renting boat on table rock. Anything else we should do? Places to eat? Thanks

Great zoo in Omaha, complete with big park and splash pad. Kids museum is also great. Go eat breakfast at Worth Cafe.

Stop in KC for few days if you get a chance

There is a great restaurant on the main drag in Branson called Cakes and Cream Desserts. Their Desserts are great and everyone will love. Also, their burgers, pizza and chicken are really good. Good prices as well.

If you're into tools, stop at Harvey Epstein in KC. Tons of threads at Garage Journal about that place.

Billy Bob's burgers on 76 in Branson is really great. It's a small place adjoined to a gas station, the menu is pretty small..... and they don't take cards, but it's a must! Fabulous shakes there too.
Rocco's Pizza (also Branson) is spot on as well. It looks like a house, and you can eat there or pick up. It's worth the drive (depending on where you are staying) and the wait.
Not sure what your particular boat plan is but we've always been pleased with using the State Park Marina. Book ahead on that if possible.
