I had a damn good lunch at Jim's Cafe in Greenville today.

Fried chicken, rice & gravy, okra, green salad, vegetable soup, and a sweet tea for $10. The other specials were salmon croquettes or meatloaf.

Place is pretty well preserved, even for the Delta. Feels like you're walking into 1963 when you go in.

The Delta is one of my favorite places on earth. Had the pleasure of spending some time there again this week.
