I want to replace my driveway. Tear up the old uneven, cracked up driveway and pour a new one.

Anybody have any recommendations of a contractor?

Call the concrete plant and ask them for a recommendation.

Just poured a 17x39 slab for a patio. I went with a recommendation for a guy “who was good for the price” as per the person who referred him.

My slab is kind of meh, and I think it would have been worse had I not raised hell.

Moral of the story- I learned that a concrete job is definitely one of those “you get what you pay for deals”. Also make sure you can be around for the whole process and watch them like a hawk.
