I know it's 2018 and people get really offended by pretty much anything, but gay dudes in the locker room isn't something most athletes want. Just speaking the truth and the SJW's on here can start down voting.

NFL front offices are notoriously crazy about not rocking the boat in any capacity. They could just be asking it to avoid any kind of lockerroom issue. A lot of football players aren’t exactly the most stable guys. The last thing they’d likely want is some kind of issue with a loose cannon on their team and a high draft pick over a social issue.

In these times, they could probably ask in a way with a little more tact that wouldn’t make a headline though.

They wouldn't be avoiding anything though and they're smart enough to know that. No closeted player would out himself just because they asked him at the combine.

I don’t know. Seems like you could ask some normal fluff questions about girlfriend, would anyone be moving with you, do you have kids, etc instead of “hey Derrius you like dudes?” If they really suspected something

If they’re just trying to rattle him I feel like they could go in a much more relevant direction.

If someone asked me this in an interview, I'd probably ask them if they were serious first. If so, then I'd just leave. Tell them to remove me from consideration and move on with my life.

I'd say to them, "Are you asking me out on a date during a job interview? I'm flattered, but no thank you. You're not my type. Next question?"

What does the Civil Rights act have to do with it?

Why is this shite ok?
Why isn't it? These aren't really job interviews as the questioner doesn't know if he's going to even get a chance to draft him and Guice is guaranteed to be employed.

Like what?

When it comes to on the field barbs, what do you think gets said more than anything else? Homophobic slurs are up there.
