The defense in 2018 has a lot more proven players than 2008. So that comparison doesn’t work.

This team will be far better than 2008. We are going to have one nasty defense.

We will be fine. O line is beefy and experienced enough now to let CEH and company rip some nice ones. Running will still be the MO.

2008 has Tyson Jackson, Ricky Jean francious, Chad Jones. And PP7 came in that year.
Whonelse is proven going into this year?
I like This defense a lot but we are assuming Fehoko is going to be a beast. And I think He will, but that’s still an assumption.
3/4 LB spots are up in the air. 3/4 DB sports aren’t what I would call a proven.

Except that was our worst defense in memory and this year we'll have an elite defense with superstars at all 3 levels.
