It was agreed earlier that he will stay till deadline.
Also he agreed that he will be with first team whole time.
It was planned from the start.
So it is not that he is smarter now.
He just returned to Panathinaikos in Greece when he made his mark.

In PHX and NOP he did not wanted to play GLeague basketball.
And agreed to sign with Pels only to be with first team.
So there was not an option for him to remain on a two way.
He'used' half of his days in PHX.
So there was no other option than let him go.
He was trash.
