Has anyone hunted South Farm lately for the Tuesday/Thursday lottery? If so, how have the crowds been showing up? I’ve never done it and wondering if my chances of being drawn and if it’s worth it. Would like to take my son and Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Usual crowds what I have heard, people getting turned away as usual. Depends on the morning whether it's 3 groups or 6.

I'd go, you are almost a shoo-in with this weather.

Went last Thursday. They pulled 7 blinds. Each blind had 3 people. Probably 6-8 people didn't get to hunt. We killed 6 mergansers and 2 greys. We did the best that day according to the biologist. It's tough out there right now.

I hunt just north of South Farm and its been a hit or miss season for us. Some morning the birds want to decoy and we get quick limits, others we're just a blip on the radar while they pass through. We're seeing a fair amount of birds each hunt, they just aren't cooperating like they used to. From where I'm sitting, they're piling into South Farm!

Hunted once this year. Only had 7 groups show up so everyone got picked. We did good that day but biologist out there said been tough year. I usually try but it in January once everyone back to work and back to school.
