Say what you will about Leslie, but he had the balls to go for it on fourth down. Seems like his teams nearly always converted.

Miles needed to go, but he would have gone for that even 4 yards out.

Agreed.

Plus magnahoulie shanked it bad it’s a miracle it stayed inside the upright.

I am not a pro or anti O but I really didn't like it when he decided to kick the filed goal. Actually it reminded me of Les Miles and the big games he lost by kicking a field goal and hoping the defense will win the game.

False. That's the complete opposite of what CLM had become. Les was way more timid in far worse situations being down in the game. CLM needed to go. He would have probably taken a knee thinking he would grind it out in OT. Stop it.

Since 1-9-12 I agree... Before that we had the balls to gamble...

when you have an inch to go to score and possibly ice the game and you don't have confidence in your team- what does that say about you as a coach?

You call time out , you circle the troops and give the rah rah speech and inspire everyone to do their job- no way we don't get in

So disappointing that O did not believe his team could gain one inch

I'm tired of people talking about an inch to go. On third 3rd down it was about a foot to go and Guice lost a yard. I don't agree with the call, but it was at least a yard away. I was sitting in that end zone.

agree...hindsight is 20/20, but there is nothing to lead us to believe that we could have made positive yardage on that play.

2009 Florida? Remember Les got to the 1, and it was 0-0, playing the #1 team at home. Kicked the FG

Gave an upvote, sir. Yet on second thought, when all O does allegedly is give rah rah speeches, that might not have helped. So he kicked the FG.

So disappointed in the way this season played out and sad that folks are griping about Aranda. He's a master

Best thread of day. Gone are the days at LSU when you had a title in arrears and a 19 game win streak and you go for two to win the game...do you know when that was?

That coach would never have batted an eye at a 3" touchdown attempt, nor would Saban, nor would Lester, nor would any of the players on that field Monday.

That is not my recollection of events, but maybe I better rewatch.
