Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP

Pretty much all I play now is the predator and pathfinder.

The pathfinder is OP as frick on forest night levels. Camp a bush n you're good to go

I just got ranked last night and am gold 2. Is that good or bad?

Yeah diversionist is a great counter to the pathfinder

Yeah whoever gets to that building first wins basically. There’s numerous times Ive sprinted straight there and got a double kill just from throwing frags in the front door

ETA: the biggest advantage in the game IMO is the suppression immunity of the Pointman

we had a match like that playing on Jungle Base. We scrambled to the building I mentioned above, my partner through a prayer Grenade to the door on their side along the back, took out two of them. It was three of us with a random mid level scrub. It was basically 3 v 4 entire time.

Idk, the Battle Rage that Predator has is OP af. I’ve melted guys with that, taking out 2 or 3 guys at a time. . The predator paired with a good tank/pointman/dirstupter is a GOAT combo.

As somebody who plays Medic 90% of the time I also believe medic is OP. They need to make the cool down for revive at least 5 seconds longer imo.

A strategy of ours is to Morter fire the enemy’s side of the access point building on Urban Incursion ASAP

I agree, and I also play medic often. I’m all about utility and stealth, so I always play something that can contribute more than just killing (medic, jammer, tank, etc.). My brother runs point and I just cover him, keep him alive, and spot for him. He’s savage and can shoot with the best of em. I’m more of an opportunistic killer, sneaking up on people or baiting them into mines/C4.

How are you playing each round? I’m a plat 2 and haven’t dropped to Gold for one match.

The ranked system penalizes you if you have a down match - yes just one match. And if you’re playing against a lesser ranked team, it expects you to mop the floor with them. Against higher ranked teams, you have some leeway. Search both of the Wildlands Reddit, you can find it better explained.

I have a partner I play with who has a 1.8 KDR in quickplay and probably something like that in Ranked from what I’ve seen, and he’s a Gold. Meanwhile I have a ~1.4 ranked KDR (you can search the ghost recon website to find yours) and I’m a Plat. I get a lot of points from revives and sometimes pull off three kills in a match (more xp). I think he loses more ranked matches cuz he plays with IRL friends who aren’t that good at the game. I’m the only one hes played with who he doesn’t know irl when we team up with his buddies.

I’d look to add guys with mics (assuming you play with one.) Almost every semi decent player with a mic I play with, I shoot a friend request. I don’t play with 75% of them but there is a few I play with.

The ranked matchmaking also isn’t good. Matchmaking in general on this game sucks. Getting stuck with three other randoms vs a whole premade makes me want to quit the match right away.
